Pioneer launches International Property Facultative Division
Pioneer Underwriters (‘Pioneer’) today announces the launch of its new International Property Facultative Division, which will be led by Robert Coker as
Head of International Property Facultative, who joins Pioneer today. He will report to Andrew Stout, Director of Underwriting at Pioneer Underwriters.
Based in London, the International Property Facultative Division will underwrite on a worldwide basis focused on primary property facultative and binder
risks targeting SME business and building upon extensive trading relationships.
Robert Coker has 25 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector. He joins from Faraday Underwriting, where he was part of the well-established
and successful Property D&F team for eight years. Prior to that he was at Manufacturers P&C Ltd in Barbados, having started his underwriting
career with Swiss Re in Zurich. Darren Doherty, CEO of Pioneer Underwriters, commented:
